Ribbon Cutting for Noma Drive Boat Launch

The City of Diamondhead is enhancing its waterfront access with a new boat launch at the end of Noma Drive. This $800,000 project features a 150-foot boardwalk with a fishing pier, an ADA-accessible kayak launch and three 20-foot observation towers for wildlife and marshland viewing. This is Diamondhead’s first free public boat launch. Designed to improve access to the Jordan River and Mississippi Sound, it offers ample parking and supports local fishing tournaments.
