The museum is open from 10 am to 3 pm on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Waveland Mississippi was Ground Zero for Hurricane Katrina, the worst natural disaster in U.S. History. The Museum is a repository of pictures, stories and artifacts from this and other Hurricanes. The purpose of this Museum is to inform, educate and uplift all who visit.
