Description

“FRAMING THE FUTURE”

Teacher Appreciation Dinner & Classroom Grants Program

Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 4:30pm – 7pm
Bay St. Louis Community Hall
Sponsored by the Hancock Chamber Education Committee

Our teachers who live and work in Hancock County are “framing the future” for our children. To express our appreciation, the Hancock Chamber of Commerce Education Committee’s 14th Annual Teacher Appreciation event will be on Thursday, November 16th from 4:30pm – 7pm at the Bay St. Louis Community Center, 301 Blaize. Our elected officials will join us to prepare and serve dinner to more than 300 teachers and administrators in our area.

Through the generosity of donors like you, we are also able to provide deserving teachers with classroom grants to assist them in doing what they do best: educate and serve our children.  Each year we have been able to award more than $5,000 in grants, thanks to your support.  We always receive more applications than funding allows so please help us support these innovative classroom initiatives by donating to support this program. You can click here to go online to make a donation and / or register as an exhibitor. You may also use the form attached to let us know how you wish to participate.

Our committee works with the community to give away as many prizes as possible to let our educators know how much we appreciate what they do for our children. We are seeking gifts and also need donations for 300 gift bags to give to the teachers so if you can make a donation for these efforts, please let Michelle Fleming know by contacting her at michelle@stclare-catholic.com or by phone or text at 228-236-7307.

Help us make this a memorable event for our teachers by joining us as an exhibitor, donor, or both. Contributions to the Hancock County Community Development Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Your donation and support make all of this possible.
