Kristen's Story: Kristen has been an advocate for animals for sixteen years. Fourteen of those were spent in an animal hospital on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. She then switched gears to actively supporting families and their pets through her End of Life Pet Doula Services. When she is not working with families, she is staying busy with her husband and two small children on their farm. Writing this book meant a lot to her as she needed something to memorialize Magnum. Having gone through the euthanasia process as a parent made her look at grief differently. She wanted to engage with other families of small children to help them process their own big emotions.
