We are excited to announce three regional policy forums on K-12 Education and the Economy. The Gulf Coast Business Council is co-hosting the forums with the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC), the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce. These meetings will be held each month in one of our three counties.
The policy forums will consist of panel discussion with coast superintendents and representatives from MEC. The purpose of the forum is to inform attendees of the great efforts and accomplishments taking place throughout Harrison County, Hancock County and Jackson County. Scott Waller, President & CEO of MEC will also provide an overview of their Amplify 2024 Regional Tour, which brings together leaders in business, economic development, workforce, education, housing, and other community representatives from across the state. Additionally, participants will hear directly from Scott Waller on MEC’s 2024 Legislative Priorities.
Those who register will be invited to participate in the Amplify 2024 Regional Tour survey for their county. The results of the individual surveys will be reviewed at each meeting. Please take the survey below corresponding to your county.
