Boys and Girls Club Playground Improvement

Description

Leadership Hancock is a program of the Hancock Chamber that is designed to support current and emerging leaders to help them develop their skills, create community awareness, build relationships, and embrace issues impacting Hancock County. This year, members of the Leadership Hancock class are revitalizing the playground area at the Hancock County Boys and Girls Club. 

Plans are to replace the broken picnic tables with more durable tables, add new basketball goals to the outdoor court and reline the court, and turn an old splash pad area into a sand box. If funds are available, we would also add a storage shed for playground equipment. These improvements would be greatly appreciated by our youth in Hancock County. Through this project youth are encouraged to spend more time outdoors, which can have several benefits for physical and mental health. 

As a sponsor, you can specify which project area you would like to contribute to, and a commemorative plaque will be placed on the playground to recognize you for your contribution to this effort. Donations can be made in varying amounts. We invite you to join us in this effort as a donor.
